Sustainability

In the Creval Group, Social Responsibility is an integral part of the governance system and of the business strategy; it contributes to designing its own identity, determining a sort of "social positioning" that goes hand in hand with traditional economic positioning; it is considered more and more as an investment, source of opportunity and competitive advantage and differentiation; it takes on the role of a real "responsibility for development".

NOTE
(*) Estimate of the number of trees “saved” relating to the dematerialization and purchase of 100% recycled paper starting from 2012. Assumption of the calculation: from a pine of average diameter and height 15 meters is obtained one cubic meter of wood, equivalent to 159 reams of paper (equal to 79,500 sheets).

(**) Estimate of tons of CO2 equivalent not emitted concerning the activities represented in the Dashboard starting from 2008.
Assumptions of the calculation:

  • dematerialization and purchase of 100% recycled paper – estimated using “Environmental Paper Network Paper Calculator Version 4.0” (www.papercalculator.org);
  • electric cars, photovoltaic plants owned, purchase of 100% certified green electricity – estimated using “"Linee guida sull’applicazione in banca degli Standards GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) in materia ambientale (versione 13/12/2018)”
