NOTE
(*) Estimate of the number of trees “saved” relating to the dematerialization and purchase of 100% recycled paper starting from 2012. Assumption of the calculation: from a pine of average diameter and height 15 meters is obtained one cubic meter of wood, equivalent to 159 reams of paper (equal to 79,500 sheets).

(**) Estimate of tons of CO2 equivalent not emitted concerning the activities represented in the Dashboard starting from 2008.
Assumptions of the calculation:

  • dematerialization and purchase of 100% recycled paper: GHG emission factors according to DEFRA standards.
  • electric cars, photovoltaic plants owned, purchase of 100% certified green electricity – estimated using “Linee guida sull’applicazione in banca degli Standards GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) in materia ambientale (versione 12/12/2019)”
