We strive every day to achieve sustainable growth and profitability through the development of solid relationships with our stakeholders and the development of the territories in which we operate.
Creval as part of ABI Lab - the research center for innovation that promotes collaboration between banks, companies and institutions for the technological development of the banking sector - took part in the sector experimentation of the "SPUNTA BANCA DLT" project. The innovative infrastructure of "Distributed Ledger Technology" (technology also known as blockchain, the same used also by cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin) created with a view to competitive collaboration, also called coopetition, which involved Italian banks in areas of common interest.
The adoption, at the system level, of this tool sets the conditions for cooperation based on transparency and the creation of competitive advantages; the logic of coopetition, unlike competition, allows in the long term a sustainable and lasting survival for all parties involved.
The “Italia interbank check process” refers to the set of activities, traditionally carried out by the back offices, relating to the reconciliation of flows and transactions that generate entries on reciprocal Italy accounts, as well as the related management of suspended transactions through investigation actions. The process involves the execution of operations to check reciprocal accounts, assessing the movements that do not cross automatically and proceeding with the reconciliation of such suspended movements through the possible involvement of the competent offices or the counterparty.
The adoption of "SPUNTA BANCA DLT" has allowed Creval to develop a further step in technology.
